Rolls-Royce Motor Cars showcased „Moving Mountains,“ a new work by Chinese artist Yang Fudong, as part of its Art Programme. This 46-minute black-and-white film draws inspiration from the traditional Chinese fable of the ‚foolish man,‘ emphasizing perseverance, and the early 1940s ink painting by Xu Beihong. The project, facilitated by IAM, marks a notable advancement in Yang’s career, blending film with sketch-like qualities. „Moving Mountains“ is the centerpiece of an exhibition that includes sketches, photographic stills, and photographic collage-paintings, highlighting Rolls-Royce’s dedication to supporting artistic innovation and exploration.
